Size Recommendations

When it comes to creating custom shirts with transfers, getting the right size is crucial for a perfect result. DTF transfers offer a great way to personalize your clothing, but how do you know what size to choose? Let's dive into some recommendations to help you make the best decision.

Consider the Design

The first thing to take into account when selecting the size for your shirt transfer is the design itself. If you have a detailed or intricate design, you may want to opt for a larger size to ensure all the elements are clearly visible and well-defined once transferred onto the shirt.

Think About Placement

Where you plan to place the transfer on the shirt is also a key factor in determining the size you need. For example, if you want the design to be front and center, a larger size might be more suitable. On the other hand, if you prefer a more subtle look, a smaller size could work better.

Take Shirt Size into Account

It's important to consider the size of the shirt itself when choosing the transfer size. A small transfer may get lost on a larger shirt, while a large transfer could overwhelm a smaller shirt. Matching the transfer size to the shirt size will help achieve a balanced and visually appealing result.

Get Creative with Sizes

Don't be afraid to experiment with different transfer sizes to see what works best for your specific design and shirt. You may find that a slightly larger or smaller size than you initially thought can create a more striking or unique look. Have fun exploring your options!

By keeping these recommendations in mind and taking the time to consider the design, placement, shirt size, and available size charts, you can confidently choose the right size for your shirt transfers. Whether you're creating custom shirts for yourself, your team, or an event, getting the size right will ensure a professional and polished result.

Our Recommended Sizes

If we build your gang sheet for you, this is our gang sheet size chart. Please ensure to note your preferred sizes if these don't match your preferences. These charts are curated from our experience and are based off of transfer width.  If your design is more than 1in taller than it is wide, we will go by height. Meaning an 11in wide design will now be 12in tall.
